1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BiK Signs website and services. By using our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services & Quotes
BiK Signs designs, fabricates, and installs custom signage, including channel letters, monument signs, LED signage, interior signs, and vinyl wraps, and offers website design services. Quotes are prepared based on the information you provide. Submitting a quote request does not create a contract; a project begins only after both parties agree on scope, price, and terms in writing.
3. Estimates & Pricing
Prices shown on this website, including results from our online quote calculator, are estimates only and are not binding offers. Final pricing depends on site conditions, materials, permitting requirements, dimensions, and installation complexity, and will be confirmed in a written quote. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Payments & Deposits
Most projects require a deposit before design or fabrication begins, with the balance due upon completion or installation, as set out in your written quote or invoice. Deposits cover custom design and materials and may be non-refundable once fabrication has started. Late payments may delay production or installation.
5. Design Approvals & Revisions
Before fabrication, we provide design proofs for your approval. You are responsible for reviewing proofs carefully, including spelling, colors, dimensions, and layout. Once you approve a proof, changes may incur additional charges and extend the timeline. We are not responsible for errors approved in the final proof.
6. Installation & Permits
Where permits are required, we can assist with the permitting process; permit fees and timelines are governed by the local jurisdiction and are outside our control. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to install signage at the property (e.g., landlord approval). Installation dates are good-faith estimates and may shift due to weather, permitting, or site access.
7. Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. Unless otherwise stated in your written quote, fabricated signs carry a limited workmanship warranty covering defects in materials and assembly under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage from vandalism, accidents, weather events, improper maintenance, electrical supply issues, or alterations made by others. Manufacturer warranties on components (such as LED modules and power supplies) pass through to you where applicable.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of logos and brand assets you provide, and you confirm you have the right to use them. Design concepts, drawings, and production files prepared by BiK Signs remain our property until the project is paid in full. Content on this website, including text, images, and portfolio photos, belongs to BiK Signs and may not be reused without permission.
9. Communications
By submitting your contact information through our website, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, or text message about your inquiry or project. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You can opt out of promotional communications at any time — reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe, reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below. 10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BiK Signs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising from our services or your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
